This section of the website is home to a collection of articles by seasoned historian Richard Rutherford-Moore whom, as an honorary member and friend of this society, has donated his work so that all may benefit.

 

About the Author...

 

Richard Rutherford-Moore is a long-term muzzle-loading shooter and historical re-enactor. He was a member of The Napoleonic Association for fifteen years and several times a historical interpreter for English Heritage as ‘A Rifleman of Wellington’s Army’. Richard also served as Military & Technical Adviser / Armourer to Sharpe Film 1992 - 2005 and from 1995 until 2005 served as a popular battlefield tour guide for The Peninsula War 1808-1814 and The Waterloo Campaign 1815. Richard has featured several times in historical documentaries on both terrestrial and satellite television.
