Frequently Asked Questions
Text Box: Are their arrangements for catering or am I expected to look after myself?

The regiment has a central catering programme comprising of two or three meals a day (depending on the event) and a selection of non-alcoholic drinks at a cost of no more than £4 per head per day.

Cooking is a part of the regiments living history display and all members are invited to contribute in any way to the preparation of meals or indeed ideas/recipes that can be used. We always have something happening in the kitchen!

Each day always begins with a breakfast of bacon, sausage, egg, beans and mushrooms and lunch usually involves cheeses, bread, soup and a meat. The evening meal can range from an authentic stew to a spaghetti bolognaise! No matter what the dish there is always provision for vegetarians and arrangements can me made if there is anything on the menu that you don’t like.
