Text Box: Our society is organised by both Executive Committee (Horseguards) and a command group. Horseguards is responsible for the overall running of the society and the Command Group takes the lead at events. Each member of Horseguards is elected annually at the societies AGM. Each has a specific role to play within the society such as treasurer, secretary, safety officer, events officer etc. One member of Horseguards is elected to act as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in addition to their other duties. The Command Group (made up of officers and NCOs) is appointed by the Commanding Officer (CO), who is elected by the membership. Officers and NCOs are selected by merit and ability to perform specific functions. Their appointments are endorsed by Horseguards. Once appointed it is not customary for an officer or NCO to revert in rank unless they request to do so. The Commanding Officer represents the Command Group to Horseguards and therefore sits with both teams. Below are the names and faces of the current Executive Committee and Command Group arranged in no particular order of seniority.
